Poetry

Definition: A form of literature written with rhythm and figurative language. It implies certain ideas to the reader without actually having said it or written it down.

Example:
Yesterday the skies were blue,
Today the skies are gray.
Tomorrow will bring something new,
Unknown sights will come our way

Significance: Poetry is used in everyday life and is just like any other form of literature. There is always a meaning or message behind the fancy phrasing. Sometimes it can be made to state something or other times it can be made just for description or love of writing. All poems are made when something, a thought, a feeling, or even  a perfect day needs to be expressed and shared with the world.
